Chris and Carol Green

With over 30 years of urban community outreach experience, Chris and Carol Green focus most on connecting with local and international leaders who desire to make a meaningful impact when working in underserved and diverse communities. They are a husband-wife team commissioned to rebuild, restore, and renew hearts and homes.

 

​Through their LISTEN, LIFT, LAUNCH initiatives such as the CARE-Ready Life Coaching® and CARE-Ready® Responding models, and other proven training models,  they have equipped and empowered visionaries and leaders in the community, government, human service, education, and business, launching them to be more effective and to do the same.

 

For this, they have received numerous awards such as the 2021 Productive Business Civility Award, a Harambee 2019 Community Leadership Award, and a United Way 2017 Volunteer of the Year nomination. They have also received honorary doctorate degrees (conferred in 2016 and 2018) in Christian Leadership (Chris), Humanities (Carol), and Society & Human Rights (both) acknowledging their years of service and significant contributions to society and the field of life coaching.

 

Founders of C and C Connections, LLC. and the STEP Forward Life Institute, they also serve as Leadership Advisors for United Graduate College and Seminary International (UGCSI).

 

They are also trained in International Humanitarian Statesmanship, mentored by H.E. Sir Clyde Rivers, also known as HRH, Nana Okogyeman Obremponnsu Kobina Amissah I - Development King at Large Ghana Africa, the founder of iChange Nations, the World Civility Spokesperson, and recipient of a 2019 Nelson Mandela International Peace Award from the Council of the Justices of the Peace of Sri Lanka.

 

If that weren’t enough, they are licensed ordained ministers, certified lay counselors, authors of 20 inspirational and life-building books, contributing authors in an international best-seller as well as accomplished songwriters, having written and published over 150 songs since 1992. 

 

However, even with all their accomplishments and accolades, their family remains their most important priority. Married over 40 years, Chris and Carol have raised three sons, have two daughters-in-law, two grandchildren, and a host of people throughout the world who call them 'Mom and Dad'.
